Elephant Park is a bold and ambitious development, which will regenerate Elephant & Castle. We were asked to create a brand identity to reflect the character of this development and unique neighbourhood, respecting its culture and heritage.

Solution

The core thought comes from origami, to represent transformation and potential – generating new forms from existing materials. It speaks to the multi-faceted nature of the area and the tremendous opportunities Elephant Park brings.

In a graphical sense, origami allows us to use the elephant in our materials as a strong, proud visual element without being too cartoon-like. The Elephant Park brand and its use of origami subtly alludes to the folds of the Lendlease brand without overstating it.

The colour pallet was selected using influences of the area to reflect the vibrancy of the area.
